Just when you thought 2020 can’t get any worst, Kanye blew social media with this sudden announcement.
He has been a very vocal supporter of Donald Trump and always appreciated his lawmaking decisions.
The 21-time Grammy winner celebrated Independence Day by revealing his plans on Twitter, tweeting Saturday: ‘We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION.’
With the two current frontrunners being Donald Trump and Joe Biden, it is very unlikely for Kanye to win the election. His surprise announcement is met with mixed reactions from his fans. Some are even saying that this tweet was much befitting for April fools day.
The post was accompanied by a stars and stripes flag, an exclamation mark, and “#2020VISION”. His wife, Kim Kardashian West, replied to the tweet with an American flag.
