Oscars 2023: The Elephant Whisperers Wins The Best Documentary Short

The Elephant Whisperers, a Netflix documentary short by Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Monga, has won the 95th Academy Awards’ Best Documentary Short category.

The film was competing against Haulout, The Martha Mitchell Effect, Stranger At The Gate, and How Do You Measure A Year, the other four nominees in this category.

The documentary highlights both the surrounding natural beauty and the relationship that grows between them. In December 2022, The Elephant Whisperers was made available on Netflix for viewers.
