All government and private offices will be closed from March 26 to April 4 to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam said today.
All Government offices, except those involved in emergency services such as law enforcement agencies, hospitals, pharmacies, and grocery stores have been declared closed. People have been repeatedly asked not to leave their homes, except to collect emergency supplies and daily necessities.
Till now 3 death has been confirmed in Bangladesh with 33 confirmed infected patients.
Public transport will remain limited and people have been asked to avoid using them as well to prevent the spread of the virus.
