Three more persons were newly diagnosed with COVID-19 in Bangladesh yesterday, raising the current number of affected people in the country to five, Prof Meerjady Sabrina Flora, director of Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR).
The IEDCR Director revealed the information at a press briefing held at her Mohakhali office this afternoon. Previously on Sunday 2 new coronavirus cases were detected and the patients were kept under medical supervision.
The new patients include a woman and two children. They are family members of one of the two patients detected on Sunday.
