Govt Decides To Release Khaleda On Humanitarian Ground

The government today suspended the jail sentence of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on humanitarian grounds and considering her age, Law Minister Anisul Huq told a press briefing in the afternoon.

She will be released for six months on the condition that she will take treatment at home and will have a travel ban for this period of time.
