In observance of the “Chollisha” (40th day) following the fall of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, students of Islamic University in Kushtia organized a unique dinner. The event, held on Saturday (September 14) by students of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature, aimed to satirically reflect the country’s autocratic political backdrop.
The students explained that the dinner was not just a gathering for food but an attempt to foster love and solidarity among the department members, while humorously addressing the current political climate. Some students jokingly commented that a vegetarian option should have been included among the dishes for students.
The dinner, which concluded with a light-hearted tone, has sparked considerable buzz throughout the university.
