Look around you and think about the things that you don’t use anymore and get rid of those.

Be clear about what you will keep, sell, donate, bin, etc., and follow through on all items. If something is broken and you are too lazy to fix it, just get rid of it.  Don’t stash those scraps for another month gathering in the dust. If you haven’t used an item in a while and don’t intend to use it now get rid of it.
